I abhor the way the school functions now.
Rafiq was right. I think the school spirit's totally destroyed.

Nobody felt the joy and all that that we used to feel when we went to school. No doubt homework and studies were a whole lot of crap, but there was still fun, laughter and so much to share.



Now, everyone's just burdened, and I say, BURDENED with a whole pile of work they tag as essentials to getting your EHHHHH ONES.

It's irritating how you see your friends get so caught up with work, that even when you crack a joke, they think you're irritating, and they're like not even willing to talk to you. What in the world is happening?


And they make a big fuss about the whole school opening shit, coming up with dramas about how good and how enjoyable school is, which is a bloody facade. I can't believe they even have the cheek to do so. Irritating shit.


And thanks for arranging the band performance to be when people are supposed to be eating. I'm SURE there'll be actually people listening to our music. You might as well just play a CD, don't waste 70 people's time, when nobody's gonna be appreciative at all.

PRE-POP PREPERATION

We bought lollipops for the entire band and attached notes to every single one of them. Even some of the messages were very short, but hopefully they felt the sincerity. (:

The 3D2N will be one that I'll never forget man. All the fun, laughter, jokes, late night roti pratas, trying to get to the toilet to bathe in the middle of the night without getting caught, the NCC alarm clock, the beautiful music with many variations we got on the entire second night, dayong sampan. Gees. I wish it never ended.

I must say, it wasn't the most organised, the best we could do, but I still enjoyed it, because it's truly the very last time I'd be part of this big family.

Learning the oboe has been such a long journey, and it will go on. Thank you for having so much patience to teach me the skills and techniques in oboe playing. Oboe playing is like the love of my life. I hope I've not disappointed you. Love you!

You are the best junior a senior can ever ask for. Thank you for taking the initiative and responsibility to practice each time I was too busy with other stuff. I've finally come to the end of my Secondary School band life. The ending's beautiful, yet, I wish it never ended. I could cry a river looking at the photos lah. I'll cherish all the memories.
I'm suffering from post-POP syndrome man.

Joining the band has changed my life so much. It has taught me responsibility, commitment, initiative, perseverance, to compromise, teamwork, co-operation, and to become a better person altogether.

Then, I thought of some of the other groups that I listen to, but not so frequently.
